Sunday services
The Sunday services at 10:00 are open to everyone! You are warmly welcome at the Goese Lyceum, Oranjeweg 90 in Goes. Free parking to the left of the building.
What happens in a service?
We worship Jesus for who He is and what He has done for us. We do that with singing, prayer and Bible study. Sometimes there is dance or drama, or people share testimonies. During and after the service there is always the opportunity for personal prayer or for celebrating the Lord’s Supper, with bread and cup. Afterwards we have coffee together. We hope our services help you ‘grow’ in your relationship with Jesus. Our aim is that you get to know Him better and discover more of His plan for your life and for His Church worldwide.
Children
There are many children in our church. That is why we have children’s services for ages 0 to 12! The children start in the main service, to praise God together. After about 15 minutes they go to the children’s church to learn about God and Jesus. Often a Bible story is told, followed by a game, craft or other creative activity. We have the following children’s groups: crèche 0-2 and 2-4, school years 1-2, school years 3-4-5 and school years 6-7-8.
Expression
An important part of our services is worshipping our Lord together. We express that worship in different ways. Besides singing and music there is room for other forms of expression, such as a symbolic flower arrangement or dance.
Family services and Rafaël Youth Sundays
A few times a year we hold family services: services for all ages in which the children are specifically involved in the content of the service. There are also services by and for the young people of the church. So keep an eye on the events!

Offering
At every Sunday service an offering is collected. These voluntary contributions go to our general funds. Want to contribute? You can give in cash, through the QR code on the screen or with the Givt app. You can also transfer a gift to NL32 RABO 0380 5539 53 in the name of Evangelische gemeente Rafaël Goes. Gifts are tax-deductible.
