Sermon series Exodus

Come along on a journey during Lent. On Sunday 2 March the sermon series Exodus begins: ‘the journey from rescue to calling’. We deliberately start before Ash Wednesday, because that is when Lent begins: a period of 40 days, not counting Sundays, which Christians worldwide devote to reflection in preparation for Easter. During the 40 years that Israel travelled through the desert, they came to know God up close. Now, for the first time, God reveals His own name: ‘I am who I am’ (Exodus 3:14-15). Our desire is that you, like the people, may come close(r) to God during this period. Will you join the journey for the next 7 weeks?
